Juvasshytta, one of the oldest family-run tourist cabins in Norway, offers accommodation to its guests during the season from May to September. There are three different standards to choose from. The kitchen at Juvasshytta takes pride in offering local and "sturdy" ingredients. We are committed to Norwegian agriculture, and as a tourist business, we know that it is Norwegian farmers who provide the very best ingredients the world has to offer. We go to great lengths to serve homemade food throughout the season.
At the summit of Galdhøpiggen stands a cabin that is also owned by Juvasshytta. The first Pigghetta (Summit Cabin) was built in 1888. There is a sale of coffee, tea, hot chocolate, "pysje" (a local treat), and souvenirs such as t-shirts, pins, mugs, and more.
